My dad had told me about how people ask for specific color paint and then dont come back to pick it up, so the store has to sell good quality paint at super cheap prices. Yesterday, we went to Home Depot to get paint for my craftroom. I was stuck between 3 colors that, no joke, we exactly the same! They were maybe a TINY bit different. I finally picked one and started walking towards the paint. I spotted the rack where they put the paint mentioned above and started looking through it to see if there were any nice colors. Long behold! the color that I had picked was magicaly on the bottom row!! I saved 24 dollars! Yay me! This is the look im going for, for my craft room:
This is Heather Baileys studio! Too cute! I also wanted a dresser/armoir/china cabinet with no doors like the one in the picture so I went to a thrift store yesterday and found the PERFECT one! I just gotta paint it white.
I can't wait until its all done!

New House
WOW! Owning a home is such hard work! Especially one that has wallpaper EVERYWHERE! As I was attempting to take some down yesterday my dad walked in and yelled at me because apparently I was scraping into the wall... Oh boy.. I pretty much spent the day painting the dining room with my lovely sister. So much to do in so little time.
Things left to do before move in (by the end of this month):
Guest bathroom
Master bathroom
Paint living room
Paint other rooms and halls
Backyard
Floor in kitchen and paint kitchen
We have three weeks...

Dogs...
For some strange reason my dogs can never lay on the couch without there being something under them. For example, whenever I make new pillows, they dig into them and then lay. Very weird...

Deck the halls..
It is family tradition to bring out the Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving. This is my first Christmas out of my parents house so I had to start out fresh. Heres what ive made so far.
This is my tree! I did not make anything on it but I plan on making a new decoration every year :)
I am beyond in love with this wreath! I got all the supplies at Michaels. Plain wreath, berry garland and a "Happy Holidays" garland. I wrapped the berry garland around. Took apart the "Happy Holidays" garland and hung the middle piece in the center and the snowflakes! All for under $10!
Another one! Plain wreath, wrapped a berry wreath around it and attached wood snowflakes. Cost: under $7. I really need to get a closer picture of the snowflakes! They are laser cut and have a really pretty dark brown edge.
And the last item: a peace garland! I got the pattern on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/ericahite?ref=seller_info) I modified it a little. I love it!
