Deck the halls..
It is family tradition to bring out the Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving. This is my first Christmas out of my parents house so I had to start out fresh. Heres what ive made so far.
This is my tree! I did not make anything on it but I plan on making a new decoration every year :)
I am beyond in love with this wreath! I got all the supplies at Michaels. Plain wreath, berry garland and a "Happy Holidays" garland. I wrapped the berry garland around. Took apart the "Happy Holidays" garland and hung the middle piece in the center and the snowflakes! All for under $10!
Another one! Plain wreath, wrapped a berry wreath around it and attached wood snowflakes. Cost: under $7. I really need to get a closer picture of the snowflakes! They are laser cut and have a really pretty dark brown edge.
And the last item: a peace garland! I got the pattern on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/ericahite?ref=seller_info) I modified it a little. I love it!

I also tried freezer paper stencils for the first time last night and let me tell you, im addicted too! Its so easy and the result is awesome!

Deck the halls with boughs of holly!
Too early you say? NO! Not when you have been working on a Bucilla stocking for almost 5 years! I guess its not that bad because I did get started on it! No halfway or even a quarter but close!
